Dear Charger families,

Thank you for registering for Albuquerque Academy's GrandDays. What a grand day of celebration we have planned for your family!

Please ensure that your Chargers and their grandparents/grandfriends have agreed on a place and time to meet. Students are expected to accompany their guests throughout the day.

Your family's day on campus will include time inside classrooms and outside on our beautiful campus, so please dress casually and wear comfortable shoes. While we are hoping for warm spring weather, we encourage our guests to dress in layers.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
GrandDays will begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m. All three campus entrances at Harper, Wyoming, and Moon will be open during arrival and departure times. The side gates (Harper and Moon) will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon. If guests plan to arrive or leave during that time, please use the main gate at Wyoming and Burlison.

PARKING
The following parking lots will be reserved for GrandDays, based on the closest proximity to the start of your day, depending on the grade of your grandkid(s).

April 6 (grades 6-7): Parking lots 4, 5, and 6, and the overflow dirt lot north of lot 4. Accessible parking is available in lot 5.
April 7 (grades 8-12): Parking lots 1, 8, 9, and 10 Accessible Parking: Additional spaces are available in lot 10 and in the circle drive beside Simms Center for the Performing Arts on the East Campus.

ON-CAMPUS TRANSPORTATION
Golf carts are available throughout the day, if needed, for transporting guests. We kindly request that golf cart transportation assistance be used for guests who require this service.

CHECK-IN
On the day of their campus visit, please ensure that your guests have a plan on where and when to meet their Charger(s). The student should then escort them to their division's dining hall to check in, pick up a program, and receive a special GrandDays gift.

April 6 (grades 6-7) Check-In Location: West Campus Dining Hall
April 7 (grades 8-12) Check-In Location: East Campus Dining Hall

7:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. Refreshments | Art Gallery Exhibit | Common Grounds Cafe open | Bookstore open | Photo booth available
8:15-11:50 a.m. Classroom visits and activities
11:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m. Lunch
12:50 -1 p.m. Welcome from Head of School Julianne Puente in Simms Auditorium.
1-2 p.m. Student performances in Simms Auditorium
