Through hip-hop and jazz dance techniques, this class will focus on warming up the body, learning choreography, and developing rhythmic performance skills. Students will learn the fundamentals of dance and performance techniques that will help them expand their high-energy entertainment skills for high school teams, cheer, and dance classes.

Dance for Theatre

This engaging class uses dance to bring Broadway-style choreography to life. By exploring routines inspired by well-known musicals and using expressive movement and performance techniques, this class provides an excellent foundation for aspiring performers to refine their artistry and confidence in their musical theatre repertoire.

Ceramics

In this class, students will explore the full ceramics process—from shaping and refining clay to glazing and firing—while creating their own functional set of handmade plates.

2D Art Methods and Materials

This class will introduce students to foundational techniques in drawing, painting, and design while working in acrylic, watercolors, ink, charcoal, and mixed media. Emphasis is placed on creative exploration and enjoying the creative process as much as the final piece.

Acting for the Stage

This immersive class uses dramatic play and scene study to bring the art of storytelling to life. By exploring fundamental acting techniques and Musical Theatre skills, this class provides an excellent foundation for aspiring actors to refine their performance presence and confidence as they transition into high school theatre.
